My Career Path

I have chosen to attend college in pursuance of a degree in Agricultural Education. Going through high school and talking  with my advisors I realized more and more that I wanted to be a part of something so great. I have always wanted to be a teacher, but growing up the subjects have varied from kindergarden to middle school science, and now to Agriculture. I realize how luck I am to have been a part of such a great organization and how much my advisors really, truely helped me. In a way, my pursuing a degree in Agriculture is sort of a thanks, but it is also my true passion, to teach others about where their clothes, food, and many parts of the everyday things in their life come from.
Thank you to My ag teachers and advisors... I would have never chosen this path if you had not shown me how awesome it is!

FFA promotes respect

Today's challenge is respect! Through out high school, while I was a member of the FFA, I learned a lot about respect: for myself, my advisors,my family & parents,  my fellow classmates, fellow FFA members, my competitors, and most importantly farmers and Agriculture. I can't even begin to describe how awesome the FFA is and how much it has changed me, taught me fantastic qualities, and prepared me for so much more than I ever dreamed of. I am so privileged to have been blessed by God and the FFA. :)

Service Through the FFA

The National FFA promotes Service in so many aspects, they hold the National Day of Service and encourage many chapters to hold their own day of service, and suggest volunteer time/ community service be a regular part of the chapters Program of Activities. I know that my chapter and several in my region hold different community service events for the members, and generally they enjoy them. Service is a huge part of FFA.

    Happy FFA Week!!

Happy FFA Week 2012 to everyone! I am proud to be associated with such a GREAT, student ran organization. As I go through college I realize each day that the FFA has helped me soo much, and that is why I want to be an Agricultural Educator and FFA Advisor!. Each day this week the National FFA will post a topic to write about, I think this is fantastic because it allows facebook, twitter, and blogs to show their support for the greatest organization ever!
